Design Your Own Landscape
|
Join us for a landscape class
using Karen’s new pattern Design your own---fat quarter Landscape.
There are over 70 interchangeable pieces in this pattern for you to
choose from. You design the colors, mood and even season of your
landscape. There are three easy steps to layer this landscape. Start
with three basic background pieces; add land elements such as
islands, mountains, sand dunes, sand bar, pathways and land areas.
Then add design elements such as rocks, fences, pine trees, shade
trees, birch tree, palm trees, bushes, grasses, cattails, lilies,
horses, deer, cranes, seagulls and sandpipers. You can choose to do
a water scene with a lighthouse, or a tropical scene with palm
trees, or a pond, or an all land scene with deer or horses, or a
marsh with a river. Let your imagination run wild. It’s fun and easy
and you will want to do another. You will learn how to make a design
board, work with fusible web, and select fabrics for a landscape.
Included are patterns and demonstrations on how to choose free
motion patterns for your landscape. This is a six hour class.
